Originally purchased in 1976 to shoot slides of my work in its time the IC-1 was state of the art. Its integrated circuit centre weighted exposure system was perfect for close up work. There were no macro lenses available for this camera at the time so a close up lense was used with excellent results at f11 onwards. My experience of this camera was quite positive however after running a film though it on average every other week the shutter wore out after three years use and finally gave up the ghost while on a study tour in Japan it was replaced with a Pentax MX .
