A pale blue 120 box camera with an eye level view finder. An Imperial XII

After dissasembling a non functioning 620 Kodak Autographic camera at the age of seven or so, a pale blue bakelite box camera was given to me by an aunt the following Christmas.

Tanya Clark has on her web site a camera very similar to the the one used for this photograph . However it is the wrong colour

The photo to the right is one of a few negatives that have survived.

Shot in Swizerland in the 1950's and first contact printed with a Kodak contact print and developing set received as a birthday gift. The films used were a combination of Agfa and Kodak 120 -100 ASA, developed in D76.

.

The negative has been scanned on an Epson 1650 photo and then corrected in Photoshop. The contrast has been increased and a fair amount scratch removal has been completed other than that it is pretty well as the box camera exposed it!
